Patterdale MRT

Established in 1964, Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team’s operational area covers some of the highest land and popular visitor spots in England, including Helvellyn, High Street, Fairfield, St Sunday Crag, as well as the quieter valleys and tops of Martindale and Riggindale to the east of Ullswater and team members respond to an average of 60 call-outs per year.
